Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PicLocal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2. Description of Service

PicLocal is a free, browser-based image utility suite that provides the following tools:

  • Grid Cropper — Split images into grid layouts (e.g. 3×3, 4×4) for social media
  • Image Compressor — Reduce file sizes by quality, scale, or target KB
  • Image Stitcher — Combine multiple photos into a single collage
  • Color Pipette — Extract exact pixel colors (HEX, RGB, HSL)

All processing is performed entirely within your local browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. No image data is transmitted to our servers.

3. Permitted Use

You agree to use PicLocal only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to process, distribute, or create content that:

  • Infringes on any third party's intellectual property or copyright
  • Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
  • Attempts to disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of the Service

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce results of perfect accuracy.

You are solely responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on output from PicLocal. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the Service.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PicLocal and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the Service.

6. Third-Party Advertising

PicLocal displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These advertisements are subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
